Improved Products

These are my final products so far after making improvements from previous feedback. The colour red is used through out my products and is bold and vibrant, this will stand out for the reader and could represent passion for music. The front cover could be seen as a conventional cover as it has a masthead at the top of the product and a heading below, it also has a pug and a banner at the bottomn of the page. In contrast my magazine cover could be seen as an unconventional cover due to the lack of subheadings on the page saying what is inside the magazine. I have used red for the name of band as it is a powerful colour and i have used a black outline so that it stands out more .
My contents page did have a plain white background, however i faded the title and placed it in the background. Yet again the colour scheme is continued throughout and the text is easy to read at a average size. The fonts used are the same or very similar to the the ones used on the front cover and spread. The images are placed in shapes that i have used on my double page spread and makes my contents page look less neat and tidy. I have also put the page numbers by the images so it is easier for the reader to find the page that relates to the article.
My double page spread links in with the cover and contents page through the colour scheme and shapes. I created the image of the band on a block with seperate images using fireworks. I used the fonts previously used and placed a quote from the band in the middle of the page, this is big so it will attract my target audience an hopefully draw them to the article.
